At LVMH, technology serves a strategic vision: to amplify human potential, promote inclusion and foster value-creating innovation. This ambition is driven by a committed community: LVMH’s Women in Tech, JFD members, who embody tech leadership across the Group and its Houses.

At the JFD Night “United by Tech” event attended by Minister Aurore Bergé, three of them were there to embody this evolving ecosystem alongside Delphine Remy-Boutang, founder & CEO JFD:

  • Marie de Belenet, Chief Information Officer – LVMH Métiers d’Art
  • Laure Leverrier, Chief Information Officer – Kenzo
  • Sonia Vieira, Head of Tech Transformation & Change Management – Louis Vuitton

Their commitment illustrates a shared belief: innovation can only be sustainable if it is inclusive, human-centred and collaborative.

The LVMH Group: Promoting female talent at all levels

With women making up over 70% of its workforce, the LVMH Group is deeply committed to promoting women’s careers. LVMH actively supports their development at all levels of the hierarchy and in all professions, including technology, in order to guarantee an inclusive environment conducive to the fulfilment of every talent.

What does « United by Tech » mean to you?

Marie de Belenet, Chief Information Officer – LVMH Métiers d’Art : It’s the meeting of craftsmanship and digital technology. In the Fine Arts, innovation extends the hand and enhances expertise: it doesn’t replace the craftsman, it amplifies his creativity.

Laure Leverrier, Chief Information Officer – Kenzo : United by Tech is a state of mind. Technology only makes sense if it creates value for talent. At LVMH, AI is a tool for empowerment: it frees up time to imagine, create and dare.

Sonia Vieira, Head of Tech Transformation & Change Management – Louis Vuitton : Tech is above all a human project. Transformation is not about imposing, it’s about getting people on board. If we want sustainable innovation, we need to train, support and create meaning.

What role do female talents play in this transformation?

Marie de Belenet, Chief Information Officer – LVMH Métiers d’Art : We have a capacity for balance and listening that is invaluable in times of technological change. Women must be at the heart of the transformation between tradition and innovation.

Laure Leverrier, Chief Information Officer – Kenzo : Female leadership is not just an HR issue, it is a strategic issue. Diversity of profiles gives rise to more responsible and competitive innovations.

Sonia Vieira, Head of Tech Transformation & Change Management – Louis Vuitton : Tech needs female role models. The more visible and vocal we are, the more we will inspire younger generations to take their place in this field and hold on to it.

LVMH: innovation at the service of people

This vision is rooted in concrete actions. LVMH has defined a clear line: AI is not there to replace talent, but to amplify it. This is the whole point of its Responsible AI Charter, co-developed by the tech, digital, legal, ethics and HR departments.

Its objective is to automate repetitive, low-value-added tasks and free up time for creativity, expertise and innovation.

Some key initiatives:

  • Inter-House AI Committee to share practices and accelerate AI use cases;
  • Tech Empowerment Programme: mentoring programme for women in tech at LVMH;
  • Discovery Days: immersion of middle and high school girls in the tech professions of LVMH Houses to inspire vocations;
  • Learning & e-learning programmes on AI, data and the art of prompting to upskill all the Group’s talents.
  • AI for All Plan: LVMH’s AI transformation plan. Its goal is to harness the power of artificial intelligence for every Maison, every profession and every employee, in the LVMH way — by strengthening our leadership through the values that define us: creativity, excellence, craftsmanship, innovation and positive impact.

Johanna Ponté, HR Director for IT & Digital at LVMH, sums up this dynamic:

The future of tech is built together. The LVMH x JFD collaboration creates a unique playing field for synergies between the Group’s Maisons, startups and AI experts. Together, we can accelerate talent development, strengthen female leadership and inspire younger generations. Uniting around tech already means shaping the future.
