Following on from Women rAIsing, JFD is starting a new chapter with United by Tech, a campaign calling for forces to be joined to make diversity and inclusion a driver of innovation, autonomy and European competitiveness.
At a time when artificial intelligence, data and digital infrastructure are shaping the future of nations, Europe must speak with one voice. Ensuring better representation of women in tech, and more specifically in AI, is not just a question of equality: it is a condition for building sustainable, inclusive and sovereign innovation.
JFD has been bringing out tomorrow’s leaders for 14 years. Women are already at the heart of innovation, but too often they remain invisible. United by Tech shows that diversity is a strategic choice, essential for our technological and economic independence. – Delphine Remy-Boutang, Founder & CEO of JFD
United by Tech is the desire to bring together talent, generations and expertise to make technology a driving force for European independence.
We cannot build lasting digital sovereignty by relying on only half of our talent pool. Diversity is not an option, it is a prerequisite for mastering our digital future – Nathalie Collin, Managing Director of the Consumer and Digital Division at La Poste Group
United by Tech : uniting to take action
JFD’s main initiatives are part of the United by Tech campaign.
The second edition of the European AI Barometer by JFD will be unveiled on 9 February 2026 ahead of the next AI summit. Developed in collaboration with EY and a strategic committee of international economic players who are pioneers in AI (Carrefour, L’Oréal, La Poste, Groupe Casino, Epitech, Euratechnologies, Mastercard, La French Tech, etc.), it will offer unique insights into Europe’s maturity and autonomy in AI, and its digital sovereignty challenges. It will seek to answer a key question: Can Europe become a continent that chooses and controls its own artificial intelligence tools?
Under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic, the 14th cohort of the Margaret Awards will honour those who embody the future of European tech and AI. The call for applications will open on 6 November 2025 in three categories – Entrepreneur, Intrapreneur and Junior (14-22 years old) – with a launch marked by the JFD Night United by Tech at Edmond de Rothschild. The jury will deliberate on 11 March and the awards ceremony will be held on 14 April 2026, Salle Gaveau in Paris.
Equality is a driver of performance. It is no longer enough to agree; we must take action. – Barbara Sessa, Managing Director, Mastercard France
The JFD Club, the business network for tomorrow’s leaders bringing together corporate executives, institutional leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and media representatives, continues to offer its members a year-round programme of events that have become essential for promoting the most promising talent. JFD is also launching a new format: the Women Open Innovation Dinners, designed to create lasting links and generate opportunities between key figures in tech and innovation, founders of tech and AI start-ups, and leaders of large groups.
United by Tech: dare to embrace AI and female innovation
Because embracing AI and women’s innovation gives Europe the strength to build its future. With United by Tech, JFD is mobilising the entire ecosystem – women and men, start-ups and large corporations, researchers, institutions and citizens – to make diversity a lever for European competitiveness and sovereignty.
