EDITO – Gender diversity in tech is not just a women’s issue. It’s time to broaden the conversation.
JFD brought together more than 60 leaders and organisations in a collective opinion piece published on 5 October in La Tribune Dimanche: Diversity in tech is not just a women’s issue. It is time to broaden the conversation.
Talking amongst ourselves is no longer enough. We call on decision-makers to take action. Because diversity is not an option: it is a requirement for performance, sovereignty and competitiveness.
The message is clear: Let’s Join Forces & Dare, and be United by Tech!
Innovation can only be conceived through multiple voices. It is together – women and men, United by Tech – that we will build a more inclusive, more human and more sovereign tech industry.
Among the first measures: introducing ambitious quotas, promoting women to executive committees, providing better funding for start-ups founded by women, making equality a performance indicator, and more.
Let’s join forces & dare and be united by tech.
