EDITO – AI in Europe: Accelerating with sovereignty, ethics and inclusion.

For over 10 years, JFD has been committed to valuing and promoting women in tech. This year marks a turning point: artificial intelligence is emerging as the most disruptive technological revolution of its time, turning our business models and organisations on their head.

Faced with this transformation, JFD is putting boldness and collective action at the heart of its action by launching ‘Women rAIsing’, a campaign dedicated to the emergence of women in AI.

As part of this drive, JFD has produced the first European AI barometer to answer a key question: is AI a driver of progress or an accelerator of inequality?
Carried out with EY Fabernovel and OpinionWay, and enriched by the expertise of an international editorial committee, this study provides an in-depth analysis of the impacts, opportunities and challenges of AI in 8 economic sectors across 8 European countries.
Much more than an observation, this barometer is a strategic compass, designed to guide businesses, institutions and civil society towards a more ethical, inclusive and competitive AI.

Beyond this observation, JFD has mobilised its partners and strategic contributors to define concrete actions to educate the French in AI and democratise access to it, support the transformation of businesses towards high-performance and inclusive AI, and make AI a lever for progress for the whole of society, by fully integrating women into this revolution. This reflection concerns all French men and women, not only on a national scale but also at the heart of the regions.

Because the representation of women in tech is the guarantee of progress in which they will be fully involved, we must unite and dare! Don’t wait any longer to apply for the Margaret Awards, under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic, until 25 February!

Join us on 10 and 11 February at the AI Action Summit, where we will be revealing and presenting the European AI Barometer by JFD to Clara Chappaz, Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy.
