EDITO – AI, Tech, Entrepreneurship: women at the heart of the coming revolutions
For 13 years, JFD has been working tirelessly to ensure that women are no longer on the margins of innovation, but at its source.
For over ten years, JFD has been building bridges : between female entrepreneurs and investors, between emerging talents and the media, between large companies and start-ups, between public and private players, between Europe and the rest of the world. Because I’m convinced that the future can only be built on a more inclusive society, one that is fully focuses on innovation.
The reality remains the same: women are still under-represented in tech, artificial intelligence and the financing circuits. And yet they hold a vital part of the answers to the major challenges that lie ahead.
Thanks to the trust of our ever-growing number of committed partners and members, and the impetus provided by inspirational figures like the Margarets – Eloa Guillotin, Eléna Poincet and so many other award-winners – we continue to act to help the leaders of today and tomorrow emerge. We give them access to training, confidence, funding and visibility.
Because the numbers speak for themselves. Because we cannot become what we do not see. And because together we have the power to make AI a real driver of progress, at a time when it is radically transforming our businesses and our societies.
In 2025, JFD is putting daring and the collective at the heart of its action with the “Women rAIsing” campaign, which continues with the Margaret 2025, following the launch of the first European AI Barometer. A vital compass to guide Europe towards a more responsible, efficient and inclusive artificial intelligence – and one that is already revealing the pioneering role of women in this revolution, the way Margaret Hamilton did, these women who are changing the world.
The women who succeed in AI will be the ones who can combine tech with business. That’s what it’s all about: exploring the blue ocean of AI, this immense space of opportunities up for grabs.
See you on 29 April to give back to Margaret what belongs to Margaret!
