JFD and L’Oréal: a shared vision for the future of beauty

In a world where artificial intelligence is revolutionizing every aspect of our lives, the beauty industry is at the forefront of this new era. This is why JFD and L’Oréal Group are joining forces to fully integrate women into the AI revolution.

This partnership is part of JFD’s 2025 “Women rAIsing” campaign, which aims to accelerate the emergence of a new generation of female talent in AI, through concrete actions: from the first European AI barometer, to the JFD Club, an international business network, to the Margaret by JFD, the only female tech prize under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic.

L’Oréal, a global leader in beauty, has established itself as the champion of Beauty Tech by integrating AI and advanced technologies into its innovations. For several years, the Group has been using AI and generative AI in many ways, both internally to serve its employees and externally, to better meet the new needs of consumers. From personalized skin diagnosis via analysis algorithms to immersive virtual try-on experiences to choose your ideal shade of makeup or your next hair color, L’Oréal is reinventing the beauty of the future: more personalized, more inclusive and more sustainable.

To achieve this, the Group relies on its Research & Innovation teams and its experts in digital, tech and data, in order to leverage the power of technology to meet the infinite diversity of needs and aspirations in terms of beauty, all while meeting the challenges of sustainability and inclusivity that the world is facing today.

This partnership is supported by Béatrice Dautzenberg, International Director of Beauty Tech Services, Vanessa Masliah, L’Oréal Beauty Tech Communications Director, and Ariane Thomas, Global Tech Director of Sustainability, L’Oréal Group, who adds: “AI promises to offer increasingly personalized, ethical and sustainable solutions in the beauty sector. Unfortunately, it is marked by an imbalance: only 22% of professionals in this field are women. This figure is alarming as AI is already shaping the products and services of tomorrow. Diversity is essential to ensure responsible, inclusive and relevant innovation. The collaboration between L’Oréal and JFD is a unique opportunity to inspire a new era of beauty, and create an ecosystem where female talent can flourish and play a leading role.”

Delphine Remy-Boutang, founder & CEO JFD – Arver, emphasizes: “Women must be at the heart of technological innovation. The alliance between JFD and L’Oréal reflects our common desire to fully involve women and make them benefit from the advances offered by AI, in a booming sector such as beauty.”
