JFD and La French Tech: A Continued Alliance to Put Women at the Forefront of the AI Revolution.

For over 10 years, JFD and La French Tech have been joining forces to build an ambitious and inclusive tech ecosystem. Continuing their shared commitment, a new momentum is being launched in 2025 with the JFD “Women rAIsing” campaign, designed to put women at the forefront of the tech and entrepreneurial world, particularly in AI.

JFD and La French Tech share a strong conviction:
“As artificial intelligence reshapes our society, the role of women in this field remains a crucial issue. Although still underrepresented, they play a key role in building inclusive and sustainable innovation.”
— Julie Huguet, Director of Mission French Tech

Delphine Remy-Boutang, Founder & CEO of JFD – Arver, adds:
“With the 2025 campaign ‘Women rAIsing,’ JFD continues its mission to accelerate women in tech, helping them go further, faster. Through our concrete actions with La French Tech, we are mobilizing an influential network to strengthen France’s technological sovereignty and promote a more inclusive AI.”

France: A European Leader in AI Innovation

With over 600 AI startups, France is positioning itself as one of the European leaders in this technological revolution. AI has cross-sector applications, particularly in healthcare, environmental sustainability, and biotech.

La French Tech and JFD actively promote female talent through initiatives such as the Parity Pact and the Les Margaret Awards by JFD, the only female tech award under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic.

Julie Huguet will also be a member of the Jury 2025 ‘the Margaret’ by JFD, chaired by Delphine Remy-Boutang, to select the next winners. The 2025 cohort will be entirely dedicated to female AI talents, as part of the Women rAIsing campaign.

At the same time, Mission French Tech celebrates women shaping the tech ecosystem with the “Femmes de la French Tech” initiative, highlighting their talent, vision, and impact on innovation.

A Global AI Leadership Moment in Paris

The AI Action Summit, held in Paris on February 10-11, will be an opportunity to showcase France’s expertise and reaffirm its position in a highly competitive global market.

With record-breaking fundraising rounds – €468M for Mistral AI and €455M for Poolside AI – France is emerging as a major player. In 2023, France raised $1.6 billion in generative AI, ranking second in Europe, just behind the United Kingdom and ahead of Germany.

JFD to Unveil the First European AI Barometer

At this occasion, JFD will publish its 13th annual study: the first European AI Barometer, a comprehensive multi-sector analysis of AI’s impacts, opportunities, and challenges across Europe. The study will be presented to Clara Chappaz, Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy,  during the AI Action Summit.
