On the eve of its 2025 campaign, Digital Women’s Day becomes Join Forces & Dare (JFD), to better reflect its mission: to enable women to enter the tech world to build tomorrow’s world.
In a context marked by the upheavals of artificial intelligence, JFD has decided to make it its theme for 2025: “Women rAIsing” to highlight those who are shaping AI.
Join Forces & Dare: action and boldness, the hallmarks of JFD since 2012
13 years ago, Digital Women’s Day was created with the ambition of promoting the audacity of women and bringing together an international ecosystem through a key annual event.
Today, JFD becomes Join Forces & Dare, a new identity that reflects its evolution since its creation.
Much more than an annual event, JFD is now an international growth accelerator for women in tech. It deploys numerous initiatives in Europe, Africa and Canada, such as the Margaret Award, the Margaret Foundation, the JFD Club (business network), the JFD Manifesto, benchmark studies, books and more.
» Join Forces & Dare is JFD’s DNA: unity and boldness. ‘Join Forces’ is our ability to bring together all forces – public, private and media – to form a united front. ‘Dare’ embodies the heart of our message: dare to be an entrepreneur, dare to invent breakthrough technologies and dare to imagine a more responsible future. « Delphine Remy-Boutang, co-founder JFD
Women rAIsing: artificial intelligence as a common thread running through JFD’s 2025 campaign
For its 2025 campaign, JFD is setting its sights on one of the most significant revolutions of the century. “Women rAIsing” will put women at the heart of the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution. While AI promises major advances, it also raises ethical, social and economic issues. It is imperative that women should also be the architects, not just the spectators.
Throughout the year, JFD will be rolling out a number of AI-related initiatives:
- Its award “the Margaret”, the only women’s tech prize under the patronage of the President of the French Republic, will focus on AI-related projects. Applications will open on 6 November on joinjfd.com and close on 25 February.
- The first European AI Barometer will be published by JFD and its, strategic partners, conducted by EY Fabernovel: accelerator of inequalities or real vector of progress? A necessary debate to make AI a technology that is not only effective, but also responsible.
- The JFD Club continue to gather its community around monthly events: its JFD Nights “Women rAIsing” and its Masterclasses hosted by AI experts.
» With its 2025 campaign “Women rAIsing”, JFD is pursuing its mission to raise the profile of women in innovation. Together, we are committed to shaping a future where women, through their boldness and expertise, lead the artificial intelligence revolution. EY Fabernovel is joining forces with JFD and its partners to ensure that progress is as inclusive as it is promising! « Jean-Christophe Liaubet, Partner EY Fabernovel
